In 2016, the butcher shop Haase in Frankfurt-Bonames decided to install the ESO system to reduce energy costs and make the operation more efficient and sustainable. After a detailed presentation of the system by ESO and consultation with an electrical engineer, owner Jens Haase decided to proceed with the purchase of the ESO compensation system.
The butcher shop Haase faced high reactive power levels, which resulted in additional costs and reduced the efficiency of the electrical systems. The goal was to reduce the share of reactive power and achieve noticeable energy savings without disrupting daily operations.
By installing the ESO compensation system, reactive power in the operation was reduced by more than 65%. This significant reduction led to savings of 10-12% of total energy consumption, equivalent to an annual cost reduction of approximately €2,400. The payback period for the system is less than three years, with savings covering the investment from day one.
Jens Haase gives a positive review of the installation of the ESO compensation system, highlighting the financial and environmental benefits:
"The ESO system is highly recommended! Thanks to the financial relief on energy consumption, the conservation and longer lifespan of the equipment, and the resulting CO₂ savings, we are doing something good for the environment as well."
The ESO system proved to be an effective solution for Butcher Shop Haase to reduce energy costs, extend the lifespan of equipment, and contribute positively to environmental protection. The 12% energy cost savings demonstrate that ESO technology offers an effective way for small and medium-sized businesses to reduce operating costs and act sustainably.
